Le Crotoy is an atypical fishing village in the heart of protected nature on a listed site of exceptional natural beauty...it is the only northern beach facing the midday sun!

Many celebrations in the high season, sandy beach, fishing, horse-riding, tennis court, cycling and roller-skating tracks, footpaths, bike hire, steam train, harbour fairgrounds, diverse shops and restaurants.

Many leisure activities close by in every season: hikes, cycle and horse rides, roller-skating, water sports, sand yachting, sea canoeing,kitesurfing, kite-flying, golf, aqua park, micro-lighting, hot-air ballooning, forests, casino, amusement park, visits to historical monuments and museums, etc.

In the Bay of Somme: many migrating birds, a colony of seals, Henson horses, salt meadow sheep

Le Marquenterre bird sanctuary, La Maison de l'Oiseau (Bird centre), the Gardens and Abbey of Valloires, Rambures fortified castle, Maintenay mill and bakery, Bay of Somme railway, Caudron brothers "aviation pioneers" street and museum, Amiens cathedral and water gardens "Les Hortillonnages", etc.

To be enjoyed: salt-meadow lamb, farmed mussels, saltwort and "gâteau battu", a local brioche.
